Former Liverpool international legend, Liverpool legend Stephen Gerrard has chosen his ideal team, in which he mixes recluse players with others still active on soccer fields.
Girrard, 39, surprised everyone by not including any former or current Liverpool star, with the exception of defender Andy Robertson, and Cristiano Ronaldo, the best player in the world, was left out five times.
According to the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Gerrard, the current coach of the Scottish Rangers of Scotland, chose to play in a 4-2-3-1 fashion, and his ideal squad came as follows:
Goalkeepers: Slovenian Jan Oblak (Atletico Madrid).
In the line of defense: Andy Robertson (Liverpool) – the Belgian Vincent Kompany (retired) – Senegalese Calido Coulibaly (Napoli) – and Brazilian Cafu (retired).
In the midfield: Tony Crosse (Real Madrid) – Irish Roy Kane (retired) – French Killian Mbappe (Paris Saint-Germain) – Italian Alessandro Del Piero (retired) – Argentine Lionel Messi (Barcelona).
In front of the attack: Ivorian Didier Drogba (retired).
