If you’re using an Apple device, here’s an important caveat, there’s a new text bomb crashing the iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, or Mac, this character string includes emojis for the Italian flag and some Sindhi characters.

According to a report by 9to5Mac, users reported receiving this text string as a notification on their Apple devices, on iPhones, the error is said to affect those using iOS13.4.1.

According to the report, “When an iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch receives a notification using this text string, things get unstable.” Sometimes,

Your device crashes, while at other times it stops responding to touch input and much more.

According to the report update, the patch has already been released on devices running the latest iOS 13.4.5 version, this indicates that Apple is aware of the issue, and there may be a fix for other devices soon.

It is not yet known how and to whom this text, shared across platforms including iMessages, Twitter and more, is shared, and the report links it to the Telegram group.

Italian is not necessary in this text bomb, Apple devices get stuck even when the letter contains only Sindhi characters.

A similar type of bug that affected Apple devices appeared in 2018, and it has been found that the Telugu letter has damaged iPhone devices if it was received in a message or in a document or pasted into a text field.
