Samsung is running the Exynos 992 processor for Galaxy phones

Beijing – Morocco today

A report from South Korea stated that the company Samsung Improves chipset Exynos 990 Current so that it can provide similar performance to the latest Snapdragon 865 processor from Qualcomm, and can be used in the upcoming Galaxy Note20 phones. This coming August with the Exynos 992 processor, the improved version of the Exynos 990 processor may be based on Samsung’s new 6nm manufacturing process.

It is indicated that the Galaxy S20 phones sold outside South Korea, the United States, and China, which contained the Exynos 990 processor, received a backlash from users when it was found that the processor increased energy consumption and led to a rise in temperature when the load over it, Compared to versions that include the Snapdragon 865 processor, according to the report, Exynos 992 processors will also have an improved architecture, capable of providing better performance, compared to (Snapdragon 865) processor, and much lower power consumption.

Another reason for the development of Exynos 992 is believed to be the possibility of Qualcomm launching an improved version of the (Snapdragon 865) processor called (Snapdragon 865 Plus), so Samsung would then have to improve its processor so that there would not be a greater gap between the versions of Exynos and Snapdragon from its phones.
