The American company, Facebook, launched a desktop version of its messaging app, for Windows PCs from Microsoft, and Mac OS from Apple.
The company said: “The launch of the application comes to help users to make video calls on the computer in full screen mode, and to keep in touch with friends and family all over the world, as it is easy to continue to do other things on the computer during calls.”
And Facebook added that during the past month, it witnessed a 100% increase in the number of people who use the Messenger application through their desktop browsers to make voice and video calls.
The app supports notifications, as well as sync calls between mobile devices and desktop devices. Dark mode is supported.
