Sultan Al-Lehayani, the former unit leader, explained that Al-Hilal will not be affected by the idea of reducing the number of foreigners in the Saudi Professional League.
“Reducing the number of foreigners will harm the mid-league teams, as well as those in late positions,” Al-Lehayani said in statements to the league program with Walid.
“Al Hilal will not be affected by the reduction in the number of foreigners. The blue team participates in the AFC Champions League with only 4 foreigners.”
He pointed out, “Victory will be affected by shrinking foreigners despite having good local elements, and the people of Jeddah will not be affected because they have Saudi players at the same level as foreigners.”
He concluded, “Clubs are damaged based on the difference of the foreign element in formation, victory is the most affected club, then Jeddah, then Al-Ahly.”
