The series includes two phones: the first «One Plus 8» regular with specifications and a relatively low price, and the other «One Plus 8 Pro» which represents the highest category and comes with strong specifications that compete with the leading phones from «Samsung» and «Huawei».
The design of the two phones is very similar to last year’s phone, “OnePlus 7”, but the difference is that there is a selfie camera in a hole on the left side of the screen, unlike the “OnePlus 7”, which came with an interface that takes over the screen completely, without any holes or protrusions. This design enabled the company to make the “One Plus 8 Pro” phone waterproof and dustproof (IP68) for the first time in the Chinese company’s phones.
Speaking of the “Pro” version, it was supported by a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, with a resolution of “QHD +”, at a high frequency of 120 Hz, to compete with the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, the first phone to support this frequency. Below the screen is a quick fingerprint reader, and the selfie camera can also be used in the facial recognition system to facilitate unlocking the device for users.
