“Municipalities” issues a guide on precautionary measures to reopen activities

The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs issued a guide to the precautionary measures to reopen commercial activities in the municipal sector during the grace period, from 9/6/1441 AH to 9/21/1441 AH.

The Ministry directed all the secretariats in the various regions and governorates of Saudi Arabia to ensure the facilities’ commitment to precautionary measures and preventive measures to control the emerging corona virus and prevent its spread.

The guide aims to provide the necessary clarifications for all workers in the municipalities and municipalities with regard to commercial activities under the supervision of the municipal sector, and within the plan to gradually lift the ban, and the most prominent precautionary controls and supervisory guidelines, in addition to the fines and penalties resulting from violating the controls and requirements mentioned in the guide.

The guide categorized the activities permitted into (7) sections, including food stores that are concerned with preparing, selling and serving food, such as restaurants, central food markets and the like, and malls (malls) that include various activities and warehouses, which are all concerned with collecting and storing goods. Under the supervision of the municipal sector, public benefit markets (such as dates and vegetable markets, slaughterhouses, massacres, and the like), in addition to gas stations and their service centers inside the station (such as repair and maintenance activities and the like), retail and wholesale stores (all that is concerned with selling Retail and wholesale of various types of goods, Calm Akz commercial, shops selling electronics), in addition to the Department offices (offices service activities, such as contracting offices, audit activities and audit).

The guide contained some general themes for the precautionary measures, which are precautionary precautions, such as safe distances, temperature measurement, guidelines for dealing with cases of suspected injury, protective measures for workers, wearing masks and gloves, and providing cleaning and disinfection tools for floors and surfaces on an ongoing basis.
