The death toll from the emerging corona virus in the world has risen to at least seventy thousand, about 75 percent of it in Europe, according to a census of “AFP” based on official sources until 11:00 GMT Monday.

The total recorded death toll was 70009, of which 50215 were in Europe, the continent most affected by the virus. Italy recorded the largest number of deaths, followed by Spain, the United States and France.

The death toll is back in Italy

In Italy, the daily death toll from Covid-19 has risen again. The Civil Protection Agency said that deaths from Covid-19 disease in Italy rose by 636 cases today, Monday, more than 100 deaths from the previous day, but the new cases of the new Corona virus causing the disease decreased sharply.

The total number of deaths in Italy since the outbreak of the disease on February 21 was 16,523, the highest death rate in the world.

The total number of confirmed cases of the disease in Italy has increased 3599 to 132547 cases, to record the lowest daily increase since March 17, and it revives hope that the disease may be in decline due to the general isolation measures that have been applied throughout the country since the ninth of March.

Deaths in Britain exceed 5,000

In Britain, 439 deaths were recorded during the past 24 hours, taking the total to 5373, while the number of injuries rose to 51,608.

In France, 833 new deaths were recorded in the Corona virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 8911.

In Spain, the death rate from the virus decreased for the fourth consecutive day, with 637 deaths recorded within 24 hours, while the number of HIV infections on Monday exceeded 135,000, and the daily infection rate in Germany is also running in the same way for the fourth day in a row.

Norway .. Corona is under control

For its part, Norway announced that the spread of the Coruna virus was under control in its territory, but warned that it was still too early to determine whether the restrictions imposed to contain it would be lifted.

The government reported that the number of new infections fell to 0.7%, compared to 2.5% in mid-March when measures such as banning sports and cultural events and closing all educational institutions began.

“This means that we have been able to control cases of infection with the emerging coronavirus,” Health Minister Bint Hui told reporters. But he added that it was still necessary to maintain rules to contain the spread of the virus.

As of Monday, Norway had 5755 confirmed cases of coronavirus and 59 deaths.

The number of deaths in Israel has risen to 55 as a result of infection with the Coronavirus, and the total number of people infected has reached 8,430, of whom 139 are in serious condition.

In Indonesia, the Ministry of Health announced today, Monday, that 218 new confirmed cases of newly infected Corona virus were recorded, in the largest daily increase since the first cases were announced in the country a month ago, bringing the total number of infections to 2491 cases. 11 deaths were recorded, bringing the total number of deaths to 209, while 192 people recovered.
