Lyrics for Bob Dylan’s handwriting put up for $ 2.2 million

The words of one of the most famous songs of the sixties written by Bob Dylan in his handwriting “The Times The Raa Chengjin” (The Times are Changing) are close to achieving a record in the field of private musical holdings when they go on sale for $ 2.2 million.
Gary Zimmitt, owner of Moments In Time, which specializes in this type of holdings in Los Angeles, said on Sunday that the words on a single page within a notebook have modifications and notes that were originally owned by Jeff Rosen, Dylan’s business manager, while now sold by a collector Anonymous holdings.
Zemmitt indicated that this is not an auction. It is a private sale, and the first person to apply for it will win. Dylan’s handwritten song, “Like A Rolling Stone,” hit a record $ 2 million when it was sold at an auction for Sotheby’s in New York in 2014.
One of the most prominent protest songs of the 1960s, is the song “The Times Yar Shenzhen” written by Dylan in 1963 and released in 1964. It should be noted that Dylan, 78, became the first singer and songwriter to win the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2016.
