Lenovo launches several Legion series computers.

Lenovo announced the launch of the latest products from the Lenovo Legion gaming series in the region, which come with player-inspired improvements such as the Lenovo Legion TrueStrike keyboard technologies; Legion Coldfront 2.0 advanced thermal efficiencies; extended battery life via Hybrid Mode, NVIDIA Advanced Optimus, and Rapid Charge Pro; plus enhanced screens with Dolby Vision and OverDrive support with optional refresh rates of 240Hz for semi-real-time in-game responses less than 1ms.

The operation of this new set of updates supports the latest 10th-generation Intel Core H-Series or AMD Ryzen 4000 processors, with the recently announced NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 1650 Ti and RTX 2080 SUPER GPUs.

Lenovo’s 2020 lineup includes Legion 7i, Legion 5i, Legion 5, Legion 5Pi, and IdeaPad Gaming 3i beginner-oriented gaming laptops. It included two new towers that act as an elegant central hub in any setting, Legion Tower 5i and IdeaCentre Gaming 5i.

Premium gaming technologies and tools

Lenovo added Legion TrueStrike keyboard to improve the gaming experience, featuring fast start-up, comfortable click-feel and superior movement of keys through the design of the second transition curve, and provides a touch-sensitive gaming experience. It also interferes with 100% anti-ghost response times, a thousandth of a second response rate, and “smooth landing” switches that simulate deep keystrokes at the same level of force operation to achieve breakthrough precision.

It also added Lenovo Legion Coldfront 2.0 technology to increase thermal efficiency and hardware cooling. And alongside it is the feature “Dual Burn” that pushes the CPU and GPU to the limits of the game inside the game so that players can experience more predictable frames per second without the need for thermal throttling.

Lenovo has also improved battery life within the framework of Lenovo Vantage, as mixed mode extends battery life by allowing users to manually disable the dedicated graphics processor when it is not needed. Optimus11 Advanced, designed in conjunction with NVIDIA for specific devices, dramatically increases battery life by dynamically switching from iGPU to increase battery life, to separate NVIDIA GPUs (dGPU) for higher frames per second.

Lenovo Q-Control 3.0 allows users to switch between three system voltage and fan speeds (quiet, balanced, performance). Other power optimization features include Rapid Charge Pro (battery 0 to 50% in 30 minutes) 14 and battery sip (instinctively release energy in small doses for more consistent battery life).

Lenovo Legion 7i

The Legion 7i laptop design comes with a 15-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) screen with 100% Adobe sRGB color accuracy, and this device has a VESADisplayHDR 400 for a higher level of fine detail. Legion 7i weighs about 2.1 kg.

The Intel Core i9 H-Series processor adds up to 1TB 8 PCIe SSD storage and up to 32GB DDR4 memory. This is in addition to a graphics processor up to GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER with a frequency of 240 Hz.

Lenovo computer supports Dolby Vision technology thanks to its HD screen, and also supports Dolby Atmos sound system.

The device has an 80-watt battery that the company says lasts 8 to 9 hours and can charge up to 50% in 30 minutes thanks to Rapid Charge Pro14 technology.

The device also adds the Lenovo Legion TrueStrike keyboard, which provides a seamless use when playing in particular.

Improved technologies from Lenovo

Lenovo offers improved Lenovo Q-Control 3.0, now available on new Legion 7i, 5 Pi, 5i 1, 5 laptops, and on Legion Tower 5i1 desktop. It can switch to performance mode for turbo charging after competition with higher CPU voltage and greater frame rate per second. Then, while accentuating the flow of electronic games, you can switch down to quiet mode to reduce battery drain and fan noise, or adjust and forget by enabling “balanced” mode for automatic adjustments based on open applications.

Legion Coldfront 2.0 boosts performance with a built-in steam room and an updated range of thermal sensors. The dual fan system consisting of 73 fan blades made of liquid crystal polymer reinforces four heat channels designed to circulate air at top speeds. Dual Burn technology supports both CPU and GPU to work together to maximize game performance.

Lenovo Vantage software, in turn, allows you to manually disable the dedicated graphics card or G-SYNC via hybrid mode for an increase in battery life on the go. NVIDIA’s Advanced Optimus.11 technology provides greater ease for users to operate and control their devices.

Lenovo Legion 5Pi, 5i, 5 Laptops and Tower 5i1 Desktop devices

Lenovo designed Legion 5Pi with gaming priority in mind. It features a 15-inch Full HD IPS screen with an optional refresh rate of 240 Hz with a brightness of 500 nits and amazing clarity comes with the optional VESA DisplayHDR 400 and Dolby Vision technology.

The device adds an optional Intel Core i7 H-Series processor and an optional NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU to the Lenovo Legion TrueStrike 100% anti-ghosting keyboard, along with dedicated media keys and a number pad to create video editing and macros easier. It also adds the fastest Intel Wi-Fi 612 technology, with enough storage space (up to 1 TB PCIe SSD8) and removable memory options.

The device also offers Dolby Atmos premium sound technology with Harman Kardon speakers to give users an immersive experience.

Legion 5Pi provides up to 80W battery that can work for up to 8 hours depending on the company, and works with Rapid Charge Pro technology that charges the device from zero to 50% within 30 minutes.

Lenovo Legion 5i and Lenovo Legion 5 devices run on Windows 10 and offer players many NVIDIA GeForce GPU options. It comes in 15-inch and 17-inch sizes with the latest Intel 10th Generation Core H-Series processors on Legion 5i. And AMD Ryzen 4000 H-Series processors on Legion 5.

Legion 5i also comes with a 15-inch Full HD IPS display with an optional 240Hz refresh rate with up to 500 nits brightness and optional VESA DisplayHDR 400 technology and Dolby Vision technology.

All models on the Lenovo Legion 5i and 5 support the fastest Wi-Fi 612 and Dolby Atmos 13, available in a Phantom Black color with up to 8 hours of battery life and Rapid Charge Pro.14.
