Manchester City and Chelsea are ready to fight a La Liga double, Barcelona and Real Madrid to join Inter Milan striker Laotaro Martinez.
Martinez’s agent, Alberto Yaki, revealed that the race is now continuing for the Argentine, after four of the best European clubs announced their interest in the young striker.
Yaki insisted that the 22-year-old was happy with the Nerazzurri, but Martinez had a penalty clause, worth 97.5 million pounds (111 million euros).
“The truth is that with the exception of Barcelona, I have received calls from Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City,” Yaki said in comments published by the British newspaper “Mirror”.
He added: “There is nothing official at the moment because Laotaro is very well positioned at Inter and just wants to score goals.”
Yaki has stated that Martinez wants to play with Lionel Messi, Barcelona’s captain, and you can read his statements from here.
