Jazan University equips a medical center to tackle Corona

The supervisor of the General Administration of Medical Services at Jazan University, Dr. Madani Al Issa, announced that the work of preparing a Corona Emergency Medical Center with a capacity of 220 beds continues, in the sense of the university’s national and social responsibility, and based on its efforts in achieving health security in the region, by investing its cadres from professors, practitioners and students of health colleges And in coordination and cooperation with the General Directorate of Health Affairs, Jazan.

Madani stressed that work and preparation for the medical center is ongoing since the beginning of February, in implementation of the decisions and directives of the rational leadership, and the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Al Sheikh, to harness the university for all human and material capabilities and construction facilities to confront the epidemic in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the Directorate of Health Affairs in Jizan.

He also praised the level of direct communication and great coordination between the university and the Health Affairs Directorate in Jizan, adding that the medical center will be available in coordination with Jizan health and its plans to tackle the Corona virus, and in a way that enhances the integration of government efforts and roles.

The Saudi Minister of Health, Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, had announced at a press conference on Monday that King Salman ordered a treatment All Corona patients in the Kingdom are citizens, residents, and violators of the residency system, free of charge.
