Japan adopts a new drug to treat patients with coronavirus

The Japanese government announced today, Tuesday, the adoption of the drug “Remdisevir” for the treatment of patients with the emerging coronavirus (Covid 19) in the country.

Japan confirmed that the drug has proven effective after its development in treating the virus, but in the early cases, and Soga added that Japan will make a greater effort to produce effective drugs as soon as possible.

The drug “Remdisfer” is used in the treatment of Ebola, and is produced by Gilad Sciences, according to the newspaper “Associated Press” America.

Since the epidemic, Japan has been working to test drugs and treatments for the (Covid-19) disease caused by the emerging corona virus, where it previously tried to treat AIDS to patients.
