The President of the General Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, inaugurated the new chapel chapel at the Grand Mosque today, which was supervised by the General Presidency of Projects and Engineering Studies.
The new chapel, estimated to have an area of 210 sq.m along the entire courtyard in front of the Kaaba, was designed and fully implemented within only 18 days, including electromechanical works such as the establishment of lighting, sound, cameras and finishes on site.
It was participated in its design and implementation by 9 Saudi engineers and experts from employees of the agency, in addition to 75 workers in various civil, technical and engineering fields.
