A Canadian pilot made an emergency emergency landing on a highway outside Quebec, and his light plane was perfectly integrated into traffic after the plane experienced a serious malfunction.
Car drivers on Highway 40 in the Canadian city of Quebec picked up videos of the sudden landing on Thursday. The light Piper Cherokee was photographed flying low over the road, which was crowded with cars despite movement restrictions due to the Corona virus crisis, in search of a landing ground.
In addition to cars, the road contained other obstacles, including many bridges. The pilot showed perfect integration skills – better than actually many drivers – and landed directly in traffic without hitting anything.
While blocking the movement of an airplane making an emergency landing is not the smartest step, many motorists did not seem very impressed with the scene and continued to drive, as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened.
The accident occurred a few kilometers south of Jean-Lesage International Airport, where the plane was to land. The local police verified the incident, confirming that the plane had suffered a serious mechanical defect, forcing the pilot to really daring trick.
