Epic Games today announced the postponement of the third season of Fortnite Chapter 2.
The American company hinted that the new season will begin on the fourth of June instead of the thirty of April.
Although it is the first time that this season has been postponed, it is not the first time that Epic Games has postponed a date for the launch of a massive update to Fortnite Chapter 2.
While the delay may be disappointing for many, the developer of the free Battle Royale game has indicated that it will provide new content that will keep players busy enough until the new season begins.
According to the game blog, the Epic team will add new challenges, rewards and multiples to XP XP, as well as an “updated gameplay” and other ambitions that will be revealed later.
And previously, Epic Games added challenges like Overtime Challenges after previously postponed seasons, which enabled players to get a Battle Pass ticket for free, if they complete the challenges completely.
Fortnite fans had expressed their anger, calling for “the death of the game”, due to Epic Games’ adoption of a new Matchmaking system based on the skill of the players, among many other things.
Fortnite is available on all platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
