The death of the former Ajman professional, financial funky C, was lost at Point G Hospital in Bamako, the financial capital, after a struggle with the disease, according to the “Male Fox” newspaper which reported the details of the news.

Yesterday morning, in the city of Korovina, near the capital, Bamako, the player’s body was restored to his final resting place in the presence of his family members, and officials of the Jollipa Club, which had been defended by Funky C. in the period from 2006-2008

Funky Sea played with Ajman in the 2012-2013 season, as he led the team to his most important achievement since the start of the professional era, by winning the Arab Gulf Cup, as he scored a goal in the final match against Al-Jazeera, which Orange won 2-1 and then crowned the title.

The 33-year-old Malian scored 11 goals in the orange jersey, ranking 15th in the top scorer list, Ghanaian Asamoah Gyan, with Al Ain club with 31 goals.

Funke C. was admitted to the hospital not long ago, after his health deteriorated in such a way that doctors failed to treat him, as the financial newspaper did not reveal the nature of the player’s illness.

The brilliance of “Si” prompted the club of Kalba Club to sign him in the 2013-2014 season, for one season, and he also played for Masafi Club for one season as well.

Funky Sea previously played for Omani Saham Club in 2015, and his last professional experience was in 2018 at the Sudanese Al-Ahly Shinde Club, after which he retired from football.

Club Julipa announced the mourning, starting yesterday, for the player for three days, in recognition of the period he spent with the club, during which he crowned the local league in Mali.
