The famous Italian opera singer, Andrea Bocelli, voiced his voice inside an empty cathedral in Milan on the occasion of Easter, to set a record on YouTube, and record the largest number of views of classical music concerts on the site.

The Bocelli Concert was dubbed “Music for Hope” and lasted 25 minutes, and was broadcast live. And “YouTube” reported yesterday, Wednesday, that the number of people who watched the concert at the time of the show reached 2.8 million at the peak, which is the largest audience for a direct concert of classical music in the history of the site.

Within the first 24 hours after the ceremony, the video generated more than 28 million views from around the world, and the number of views increased to more than 36 million views today, Thursday.

Bocelli, who presented a selection of religious songs and operatic compositions, said that the aim behind this ceremony is to reunite at a time when people live in isolation in an effort to contain the Corona virus.
