The new update enables Nokia 7.2 users to get 3 advantages, the first of which is gesture control, as Nokia smartphone control is now easier thanks to the fastest and easiest operation.
The second feature is focus mode, which allows blocking distracting apps when one has to focus on the basics.
The Nokia 7.2 has become a feature of Family Link, to help parents set the basic digital rules for all family members, and this is the third feature by which, for example, the duration of use of an application and the period during which the smartphone is locked is determined.
Despite fierce competition in the smartphone market, the Finnish Nokia was able to achieve net profit more than doubled in the last quarter of 2019.
The company announced last February that the net profit amounted to 563 million euros (619 million dollars) in the fourth quarter of 2019, compared to 203 million euros in the same period of the previous year, and the company recorded net sales of 6.9 billion euros.
Nokia said it is continuing to invest in the fifth generation, amid strong competition from competitors such as Chinese Huawei and Swedish Ericsson.
It confirmed that it has 66 commercial deals related to 5G technology and 19 live networks.
For the full year 2019, Nokia said that sales increased by 1% on the basis of currency stability to reach 23 billion euros, while net profit amounted to 18 million euros, in contrast to the loss recorded in 2018 of 540 million euros for the whole year.
