The Municipality of Jeddah Governorate clarified that an observer team from Al-Sharafiya Municipality stood on the street vendors in Bani Malik neighborhood, and two tons of vegetables and fruits were confiscated, and Al-Saleh was handed over to charitable societies, according to the established practice, and destroyed and removed 70 wooden carts and simplified with the participation of the security authorities.

The Deputy Governor of the Jeddah Governorate for Municipalities, Eng. Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al-Zahrani, explained that the teams managed to raid the site after monitoring it and other neighboring sites, as it constituted a gathering of workers practicing random selling, pointing out that these actions continue daily, and these violations were monitored within a random neighborhood.

A clip had been circulated to workers forming a gathering in the Bani Malik neighborhood, which could lead to an outbreak of the Corona virus before the Jeddah Municipality took the initiative to remove the site and intensify its monitoring.
