The Land Allocation Committee in the Emirate of Sharjah approved, during its remote meeting, 582 applications for granting residential land to citizens in the Emirate of Sharjah, while it apologized for 69 requests for not meeting the conditions, during the recent meeting held remotely.
Committee Chairman Walid bin Falah Al Mansouri said that the committee decided at the meeting to approve 582 plots of land for citizens in different regions of the emirate, “Sharjah City – Central Region – Eastern Region – Kalba and Khor Fakkan – Dibba Al-Hisn – and Hamriyah City”, which met the requirements for granting land in The emirate has apologized for 69 requests not to fulfill the allocation requirements.
He explained that the committee discussed the best ways to meet the needs of the residents of residential lands in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, and close monitoring by the Executive Council headed by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, To meet the needs of the citizens of the lands and provide them with them according to sophisticated, fast and simplified work procedures, pointing out that the current conditions did not prevent or delay the work of the committee in discussing requests to grant land submitted by the citizens of Sharjah, and that the committee has put in place a flexible work plan that allows it to continue the work remotely , And discuss all private business and the completion of research and discussion of applications submitted in a timely fashion and in accordance with the specific plan.
He added that the approvals on the requests for granting land will be handed over to the relevant departments of the Planning and Survey Department in Sharjah, which will in turn initiate the procedures for allocating lands to the beneficiaries and communicate with them as soon as the surveys are completed for residential areas in accordance with the procedures followed in this regard.
He pointed out that the committee is keen on enhancing the means of cooperation and communication with all government departments and institutions concerned with the aim of completing and speeding up procedures for allocating lands in all its categories according to the policies of the Sharjah government and its development plans aimed at securing amenities for citizens according to the foundations of social justice.
