Wall Street declines as banks and travel stocks were hit by the Corona virus by Reuters


(Reuters) – US stocks saw heavy selling on Thursday, as banking and travel stocks plunged, as volatile market volatility persisted due to the uncertainty surrounding the spread of the Corona virus and its economic consequences.

The industrial index fell 969.17 points, or 3.58 percent, to 26,121.69 points. The index fell 105.98 points, or 3.39 percent, to 3,024.14 points. The Nasdaq Composite fell 279.49 points, or 3.1 percent, to 8,738.60 points.
