MILAN / DUBAI (Reuters) – Black Rock has pulled out of the competition for investment in the assets of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) gas pipelines, sources familiar with it said.

This, they said, would make Italian infrastructure company Hump and Global Investment Partners among at least six competitors remaining.

Black Rock, along with KKR & Co direct investment, last year bought a forty percent stake in ADNOC Oil Pipeline with a value of $ 4 billion, and the two sources said they were also looking for a deal that includes ADNOC gas pipeline infrastructure.
