The Ministry of Health asks citizens and residents to avoid traveling – localities – health


The Ministry of Health and Community Protection has called on citizens and residents to avoid traveling, given the current situation of the new Corona virus, and its spread in several countries.

She stressed that she will take preventive measures in the event of travel, when returning from outside the state, according to the discretion of the competent authorities, noting «the necessity to undergo medical examinations at the airport, and to keep in the home quarantine until the traveler is assured of safety, but in the event of confirmation of infection with the virus “Sanitary isolation procedures will be applied in health facilities, to ensure the safety of the injured and to avoid contact with others.”

Since the World Health Organization declared a state of emergency around the world due to the spread of the virus, the UAE has taken precautionary measures and measures, in compliance with global health standards, including the provision of preventive medical supplies. She has recovered five cases thanks to the healthcare provided to her HIV-positive cases.

The ministry said that many people around the world are concerned about Corona, but the UAE’s readiness confirms its ability to curb the rapid spread of the disease and reduce its severity, noting the efforts made and continuous coordination between the concerned authorities, which aims to make the state a safe haven and maintain the life course in a way Normal in all sectors.

She added: “Since the spread of the disease throughout the world, the health sector in the country has started taking the necessary measures and providing medical and preventive supplies besides the highly qualified medical cadres, and among the most prominent of these efforts is the distribution of the medical guide to health and governmental facilities and the private sector, in addition to other sectors such as education, ports and tourism And providing isolation rooms in state hospitals, as well as placing thermal detectors on the state’s air, land and sea ports, as did rapid laboratory examination and control procedures at border outlets, where more than 30 thousand checks have been conducted since the virus appeared. And isolate the health sector suspected cases directly, pending confirmation of injuries, by strengthening methods of epidemiological monitoring and investigation, especially for travelers and visitors ».

On the other hand, the precautionary measures announced by the Ministry of Education in support of the health sector contributed to preventing the spread of the virus.

Among the most prominent measures are the provision of spring leave, and the application of distance education, in order to preserve the health of students.

The Ministry urged students and workers in educational facilities coming from traveling outside the country to do the necessary medical examination and adhere to a home quarantine period of 14 days, to ensure that they are free of the disease.

School leaders have also trained on how to deal with the Corona virus. She directed educational classes targeting more than 1,000 people, followed by a preventive awareness campaign that outlined the causes of injury and means of protection and guidance, and targeted about 4,000 guardians, and more than 1,000 educators in various regions of the country.

The Ministry also published awareness materials on social media platforms in coordination with the health sector.

Bus sterilization

The Ministry of Education has begun implementing a number of preventive measures to counter the Corona virus, including sterilization of more than 600 schools, and more than 3000 school buses as part of its efforts to provide a healthy environment for students and workers in educational facilities.

The Ministry of Education urged students from outside the country to take the necessary medical examination.
