After the royal order, free treatment for all citizens, residents and violators of the residency system

The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros Adhanum Ghebrysos, praised the order of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – that includes free treatment for all citizens, residents and violators of the residency system in all public and private health facilities in everything related to treatment of the Corona virus .

In details, the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros Adhanum Gebresus, said: “I thank KingSalman for your leadership and your commitment to ensuring that everyone has access to the health services needed to combat COVID19. We hope other countries will follow your example of leadership and solidarity.”

The Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, announced today, Monday, the order of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – to provide free treatment to all citizens, residents, and violators of the residency system in all public and private health facilities in everything related to treatment of a virus. Sk. ”

Minister Al-Rabiah affirmed during a press conference that this noble matter comes from the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques – may God bless him – on the health of all, who put the health of the citizen and the resident a top priority to ensure the safety of all.

The Minister stated that the order of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques includes the provision of free health care to violators of residence, work and border security systems infected with or affected by Corona virus, in hospitals and government and private medical centers, without any legal consequences, in order to ensure the health security of the Kingdom and its citizens and residents.

He emphasized that this initiative from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques – may God bless him – comes as an extension of the humanitarian efforts that Saudi Arabia has provided to countries infected with this virus, such as China and Italy, and that the residents of this land are the first with this human gesture.

He drew attention to the fact that the G20 leaders’ summit, which was chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, on the Corona virus is a confirmation of Saudi leadership and excellence, and an example to be followed in addressing this pandemic.
