Sharjah Municipality closes a number of parks to limit the spread of Corona


Sharjah Municipality announced the closure of a number of parks in the city of Sharjah, which is witnessing a great turnout by the public until further notice as a precautionary measure to prevent the transmission of any infection, and to preserve the health and safety of community members.

The decision to close included Sharjah National Park, Al Mahatta, Abu Shagara, Al Fayhaa 1 and 2, Al Nahda, Al Mamzar, Al Safiya, Al Nasiriyah, Al Nakh, Nad, and the Green Belt for Women and Fishes.

The closure of these parks is among the steps that the municipality follows to prevent the transmission of infection, maintain the public’s safety, and make them aware of the importance of prevention and adherence to all instructions issued by the competent authorities.
