Saudi Investment: We have contacted more than 7,000 investors in the Kingdom to provide them with support


The Saudi Ministry of Investment announced that the Corona Crisis Response Center (MCRC) At the Ministry, it continuously communicates with more than 7000 investors in the Kingdom to ensure the continuity of their business and help them in addressing the challenges that may arise in the business environment due to the current conditions the world is going through.

The center works to guide and spread awareness among clients about dealing with the crisis in the business environment, in addition to facilitating communication between investors and other government agencies.

The Center has received during the past five days more than 1400 calls and requests by phone, WhatsApp and e-mail, and the Ministry provided more than 530 services through its portal for electronic services, and the Center’s team has contacted more than 5600 investors to provide support and respond to their inquiries, and provide more than 110 procedures for licensing services between issuance, amendment and renewal.

The Minister of Investment, Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih indicated that the establishment of this center in the ministry comes within a pre-emptive business continuity plan that was activated during the past week and aims to confront all the challenges that may arise due to the Corona virus pandemic, which was confirmed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – in his speech that stated that “we will face difficulties by believing in God, trusting in Him, and working with causes, and making our dear and precious efforts to preserve human health and safety.”

He noted that all employees of the Ministry of Investment carry out their tasks remotely, and that the Ministry is working in full capacity to serve investors, in continuous and direct coordination with all sectors and government agencies concerned, while the Corona crisis response center exercises immediate and around-the-clock dealing with developments and challenges that investors may face during These days, and work to solve it as soon as possible.
