Informed sources said that Saudi Aramco has rejected requests for at least three Asian refining companies to obtain additional quantities of oil in the month of April, despite its pledge to boost oil production.

The sources added that they requested to download additional quantities in the next month to be added to the current supply contracts, but the requests were rejected.

Earlier, Saudi Aramco announced its intention to increase production in next April to 12.3 million barrels per day, with the expiry of the production restrictions stipulated in the “OPEC +” agreement, and for comparison, the Kingdom’s production under the agreement was 9.7 million barrels per day.
