Saudi Arabia prohibits prayer in mosques, with the exception of the Two Holy Mosques

The Council of Senior Religious Scholars in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued a decision banning prayer in mosques as part of efforts to contain the Corona epidemic, and excluded the Two Holy Mosques from the decision.

In the context, the Saudi News Agency said that the authority “issued its decision No. (247) regarding stopping Friday and Friday prayers for all prayers in mosques, and only raising the call to prayer, with the exception of the honorable deprivation.”
