Dubai: A statement issued by the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority stated that the Kingdom invited its citizens who had been in Iran during the past fourteen days, to report this, as part of the procedures to contain the spread of the Corona virus.
The members of the Shiite minority in Saudi Arabia maintain the confidentiality of their visits to Iran in light of the extreme hostility between the two countries. Saudi Arabia cut diplomatic ties with Iran in January 2016.
The Civil Aviation Authority wrote in a tweet on Twitter: “Take the initiative to disclose your presence in Iran during the past fourteen days in order to preserve your health and the health of your family and society.”
