CAIRO (Reuters) – The Saudi monarch assigned the Minister of Finance, Mohamed Al-Jadaan, to supervise the Ministry of Economy and Planning, relieving Mohamed Al-Tuwaijri from this position.

The official agency added that King Salman appointed Al-Tuwaijri as a consultant at the Royal Court at the rank of minister.

This comes two weeks after a cabinet reshuffle, which brought back former Minister of Energy Khaled al-Falih to the formation of the Minister of Investment and created two ministries for Sports and Tourism.
