Rola wrote on her Twitter account announcing her injury, as she now lives in Oxford, England.

“Unfortunately, I am healthy and well. My condition is from bad to worse,” Rola said. “I have contracted the virus despite taking all necessary precautions.”

“Unfortunately the health system here is currently full of many conditions. I don’t know if they are even ready for my treatment. Your prayers will definitely help me. I will try to inquire in my upcoming tweets about any place to check in my area, my love.”


She wrote back in another tweet to ask about a place to be tested for the Coronavirus, confirming that her condition was getting worse.


Rola Mahmoud is an Egyptian actress, born in Kuwait, then returned to Egypt with her family and lived in the city of Alexandria, got a Bachelor of Arts Department of the English Language, then studied singing and acting.

Her artistic beginnings in the series “Awan Al-Woroud” in 2000, and then the movie “The Magician” with the artist Mahmoud Abdel Aziz in 2001, one of her most important roles is the movie “His Excellency the Minister”. 2011, before retiring from art and traveling to Europe.
