The Brazilian star Neymar returned to his country before the isolation period imposed by the French authorities against the background of the Coruna virus outbreak took effect on Tuesday, according to his club Paris Saint-Germain.

The French capital team confirmed to “France Press” today, Wednesday, the press reports, especially in “L’Equipe” and “Le Parisien” newspapers, on the return of the most expensive player in the world to Brazil in light of the stoppage of local and continental competitions at present.

The Parisian captain, Thiago Silva, made a similar move to his compatriot.

Paris St Germain suspended its exercises since the second leg of the Champions League final against Germany’s Borussia Dortmund on March 11 (he won 2-0 and qualified for the quarter-finals with a total of 3-2).

The club did not specify a date for the possible return of its players, who left France before the French began on Tuesday, measures of complete isolation imposed by their country’s authorities for two weeks in an attempt to cordon off the spread of the emerging Corona virus.

The French quarantine measures were similar to those followed in Italy and Spain, the two countries on the continent most affected by the virus, which has become a global pandemic.
