London- Manchester United’s Deputy CEO Ed Woodward has made clear his position on the possibility of canceling the Premier League season, which will end Liverpool’s traditional rivals dream of crowning the title.

The outbreak of the Coruna virus, the Premier League competition, was suspended until April 30, and as the virus continues to spread in the United Kingdom, the future of the tournament remains uncertain.

Club representatives met last week to discuss the future of the Premier League, and Woodward was clear about his stance on the possibility of canceling the season’s results. According to Athletic, Woodward showed his desire not to cancel the season, and described his opinion by the participants as “very fair.”

Liverpool top the Premier League standings 25 points behind their closest pursuers, and need only two wins to win the title. As for Manchester United, he can qualify for the UEFA Champions League if he maintains his position on the table, as he occupies the fifth place, knowing that the second-place Manchester City was denied European participation for two seasons.
