Mohamed bin Zayed: Syria is not alone in facing “Corona”

In the context of his contacts to follow up the humanitarian conditions of the peoples and brotherly and friendly countries, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, made a phone call to His Excellency Bashar Al-Assad, President of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic.
His Highness and the Syrian President discussed, during the call, the developments and repercussions of the new Corona virus «Covid-19» in the region and the world, the precautionary measures and measures taken in both countries to address this epidemic, and the possibility of assisting and supporting sisterly Syria in this regard, in a manner that ensures overcoming the epidemic and protecting its brother people.
His Highness stressed the need for countries to rise above political issues in these exceptional circumstances, and to overcome the human side in light of the common challenge that we all face, stressing that Syria, the brotherly Arab country, will not be alone in these delicate and critical circumstances.
For his part, His Excellency, Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad welcomed the initiative of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, valuing the humanitarian situation of the United Arab Emirates in light of what the region and the world are witnessing of this emerging challenge, stressing his welcome to this cooperation during this circumstance, praising this initiative in all its meanings High.
