King Salman personally signed the arrest warrant for Bin Nayef and Bin Abdulaziz

According to a report published by the Reuters news agency, King Salman bin Abdulaziz signed the arrest warrant for the two princes, Muhammad bin Nayef and Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, who were accused by the Saudi authorities of treason.

Reuters quoted a regional source as saying that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman “accused the three detainees, Prince Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, Prince Muhammad bin Nayef and his son, of making contact with foreign powers, including the Americans and others, to carry out a coup.”

The source pointed out that bin Salman “strengthened these arrests, his full grip on power, and completed the purges,” noting that no competitors will continue to challenge his success to reach the throne.
