Yesterday, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the postponement of a number of its scheduled dates in the coming period, due to the outbreak of the new Corona virus, most notably the qualifiers for the 2021 Nations Cup in Cameroon. “In the wake of concerns about the” Covid-19 “virus, which is considered a global pandemic by the World Health Organization, Al-Kef decided to postpone the following competitions until further notice,” the federation said in a statement on its website.The postponement included the third and fourth rounds of the African Nations qualifiers, which were scheduled between 25 March and 31 March, the March World Cup qualifiers for women under 20, and the April 2012 African Women’s Cup qualifiers. Until the new dates are announced in due course.
