Huawei said in a statement that the first batch of its second foldable smartphone, the Mate Xs, was sold in China in a few seconds, in a new success.
The Chinese “Huawei” had launched the first generation of its Mate X foldable phone in China at the end of last year, and the phone had achieved success there.
The company said, “The quantity you released from the new (Mate XS) phone was sold in seconds. It plans to launch the second batch of it on March 8th.”
Huawei did not disclose the quantity it sold from the new “Mate XS” phone, but according to previous figures, the company had sold more than 100,000 units of the “Mate X” phone in less than a month in China, so it is expected that the new phone will be achieved – Which is available at a high price of $ 2,400 – Similar figures.
It is noteworthy that “Huawei” had announced a “Mate X” phone on February 24 last year, with a design similar to the “Mate X” phone, but the company has improved some of the specifications, especially the interior.
Huawei said that the new generation offers a more durable screen, and the joints have been redesigned. Internally, the phone has a faster processor, the Kirin 990 instead of the Kirin 890.
The company added that this time it used a “quad-layer” build of the screen on the “Mate XS”, which makes it more durable. However, the layers are made of plastic, which makes the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip the only newer folding to offer protection made of glass.
