Global stock exchanges are painted in red

Global stock markets fell on Friday, against the backdrop of falling oil prices and worries about the growth of the global economy fueled by the spread of the Corona virus.

In Europe, the British “Financial Times 100” index fell 3.55% by 16:02 Moscow time, while the French “CAC 40” index fell by 3.75%, while the German “DAX” index fell 3.52%.

In Moscow, by the time 15:59 Moscow time, the MICEX index of ruble stocks fell 4.18% to 2,699.07 points, and the RTS index of dollar-denominated stocks fell 5.73% to 1247.98 points.

In the currency market, the Russian currency retreated against the American and European currencies, and the exchange rate of the dollar rose by 47 kopeks (ruble = 100 kopeks) to 68.09 rubles, and the euro exchange rate rose by 1.12 rubles to 77 rubles, according to the Moscow Stock Exchange data.
