Former Real Madrid player Royston Drenthe continues to stir controversy and turn into an actor.

The Dutch player announced his entry into the world of acting, as he is in a series called “Mocro Maffia”, a series that talks about the world of drugs and gangs in the Netherlands.

Drenthe wrote on Instagram: “It is time, after Scott Long, that you will see me in the Mocro Maffia series.”

“I am very happy to be part of the series, and I can’t wait to watch my audience enjoy my role,” he added.

“I am also happy that you will see the other side of me, and I hope you enjoy me so check out the series.”

Drenthe, Real Madrid, Feyenoord and Everton, retired in 2016 and returned to soccer via Sparta Rotterdam, and currently plays for the Kouaksin Boys in the Dutch second division.
