Dubai Financial Market sheds closing by 1771 points, or 1.02%


Arabian Business Egypt: The Dubai Financial Market Index closed Tuesday’s trading session, down by 1.02%, at the level of 1771 points, amid a total value recorded about 193 million dirhams.

The shares of 33 companies were traded, of which 17 increased, the shares of 10 companies declined, while the shares of 6 companies were stable.

Emaar Properties shares fell 4.7%, at 2.22 dirhams, and trading close to 33 million shares, Emaar Mall shares fell 2.7%, at 1.07 dirhams, and trades exceeded 12 million shares, and GFH shares fell less than 1% at 0.539 dirhams, With turnovers exceeding 11 million shares, Dubai Islamic shares shrank by 1.09% at 3.6 dirhams, and trades nearly 11 million shares.

Al-Ittihad was the most heavily traded stock, rising 1.5% at 0.207 dirhams, with trading close to 35 million shares.
