Circular to the Director General of Civil Aviation to prevent the outbreak of corona

The Director General of Civil Aviation at Rafic Hariri International Airport – Beirut, Eng. Fadi Al-Hassan, today directed Circular No. 5/2 to all airlines operating at the airport on the measures taken and the precautionary precautions needed to prevent the outbreak of the Corona virus, stating: “Kindly to Circular No. 2/2 Date 28/2/2020, and based on the latest recommendations regarding the global spread of the Corona virus and with a view to limiting its spread in Lebanon, all airlines operating at Rafic Hariri International Airport – Beirut are required to stop air transport for all passengers coming from the following countries: China, Hong Kong , Macao, Chinese Taiwan, Japan, Korea, South In Iran, Italy and Italy, with the exception that:

Lebanese citizens and members of the family of a Lebanese traveler who hold one of the nationalities of the aforementioned countries and did not obtain citizenship or residency in Lebanon.

– Members of foreign diplomatic missions of the above countries operating in Lebanon.

It also requests not to transfer any transit passenger or transfer from one of the aforementioned countries via Rafic Hariri International Airport – Beirut to the airports of other countries.

We attach great importance to this circular, and we ask all companies to adhere to its content until further notice. “
