A famous French haute couture house, Christian Dior, announced on Tuesday that one of its units has started producing medical respirators as a contribution to supporting anti-Corona efforts.

Dior, owned by LVMH, will produce its camouflage at a factory in Brittany, northern France, which usually produces high-end children’s clothing, with volunteers entrusted with the task of working in the operator.

“The silos will be donated to workers in key jobs such as transportation or food distribution,” the fashion house said, noting that all other Dior production sites were closed because of Corona.
