Aramco receives a mandate to increase energy to 13 million barrels per day

Saudi Aramco announced that it has received a directive to raise the maximum sustainable production capacity to 13 million barrels per day.

The company said, in a statement to the Saudi financial market “Tadawul”, that it “received a directive from the Ministry of Energy to raise the level of maximum sustainable production capacity from 12 to 13 million barrels per day.”

This comes the day after the company announced that it intends to increase the oil supplies it provides to its customers to a record level of 12.3 million barrels per day in April.
