A planet dripping iron hot liquid
Washington – London: «The Middle East»
Scientists have monitored a strange planet in a distant solar system, which has always been terrible, as the opportunity is set at 100 percent for the most strange rain that comes to mind in the form of drops of hot liquid iron to a burning rate.
The researchers said yesterday that they used the espresso tool used to search for planets with the very large telescope of the European Southern Observatory in Chile to observe a planet called Wasp-76b located about 640 light-years from Earth. The size of this planet is twice the size of Jupiter, the largest of our solar system, and it is one of the most extrasolar planets discovered outside the solar system in terms of climate and chemical composition. It belongs to a type of planet called a superheated gas giant planet, according to Reuters. The planet is located very close to its star, which is roughly twice the size of the sun. The planet Wasp-76b orbits in an orbit three times the diameter of the star, meaning that it is much closer to the planet Mercury than the sun. The planet Wasp-76b faces its star on one side like the moon facing the earth on one side. The radiation received by the planet is 4000 times more than that received by the Earth from solar radiation, and the temperature on its surface during the day is 2400 degrees Celsius. This enormous heat causes the minerals on the planet to evaporate and carry strong winds of iron vapor to the darker, less heated side of the planet, where it condenses and turns into drops of liquid iron.
David Arenraich, a professor of astronomy at the University of Geneva, and head of the team of researchers involved in the study published in the journal Nature, says that the rain of liquid iron may be a unique feature of the features of these very hot planets. And he adds: “The extreme weather conditions that we met in Wasp-76b and its like from the superheated gaseous planets not found anywhere in our solar system … So these UFOs are unique laboratories for testing our climate models and understanding the most extreme forms of air transformation.”
