On Tuesday, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, presided over the session held by the Council of Ministers at Al Yamama Palace, in which he discussed the Kingdom’s progress in the “Women, Business and Law 2020” report issued by the World Bank Group, and its classification in the most advanced and reformed country between 190 A country around the world, becoming the first Gulf country and the second Arab country.

The Council also indicated that the report was the result of legislative reforms in the laws and regulations related to women in accordance with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 programs that contributed to supporting the implementation of those reforms, enhancing its role in economic development, and raising the Kingdom’s competitiveness regionally and globally.

“Adherence to Security Council resolutions”

On the other hand, Minister of Information Turki bin Abdullah Al-Shabana clarified, in his statement to the Saudi Press Agency, after the session, that the Kingdom is following with great interest the current developments in the Eastern Mediterranean region, and shows its concern for security and stability in it, and its full support for the sovereignty of Cyprus over its territories.

The Minister also renewed the Kingdom’s call to all parties to abide by Security Council resolutions to resolve disputes, in a way that serves international peace and security and stability in this region.

On the other hand, Al-Shabana clarified that the Cabinet discussed the Kingdom’s assertion during the fourth session of the Arab Parliament in Cairo that its policy is based on the principles of peaceful coexistence and good neighborhood, full respect for the sovereignty and independence of states, non-interference in its internal affairs, and its belief that these principles It is capable of solving all conflicts and disputes.
