Wael Gomaa, the former Egyptian national footballer, confirmed that the former board of the Egyptian Football Association is the cause of the crises that Egypt is currently suffering from.
Jumah said in statements on BN Sports, that Mohamed Salah did not find any support from the Egyptian Football Association, which increases the severity of crises in the recent period.
The former captain of Egypt said: “Mohamed Salah is in the glory of his brilliance globally and everyone considers him to be one of the best three players in the world. He did not find any support from the Egyptian Football Association.”
He continued: “The former union in Egypt is the cause of all that Egypt is currently suffering from and is the cause of all crises and failures, and the current technical staff bears this legacy unfortunately.”
He added: “The previous football association has offended the Egyptian football, we failed to return the fans to the stadiums, and the presence of the fans was a great force for us as players in the golden generation.”
He concluded: “Mohamed Salah will not be able to carry the Egyptian team alone, even if he is the best player in the world because football is a team game, now Egypt’s team is without a true identity.”
