Video: Abdulaziz bin Salman told a journalist who asked him about the “Bezos” phone: “The wrong minister and the wrong place”

Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman has refused to respond to questions from a foreign journalist, Lahouh, about allegations of some media reports that the kingdom was behind the hacking of Jeff Bezos, the president of the Amazon company.

After leaving a session on the future of oil at the World Economic Forum in the Swiss resort of Davos, yesterday, in response to a reporter’s question, the minister said: “No, I am the Minister of Energy … and I think you are asking the wrong minister in the wrong place (…) I think it is sarcasm and a joke.” .

The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United States of America has said that media reports claiming that the Kingdom is behind the hacking of Mr. Jeff Bezos’ phone are ridiculous.

The embassy, through a statement posted on its account on the social networking site “Twitter”, called for an investigation of these allegations so that everyone can obtain all the facts.
