The Ministry of Trade and Investment is well-known for its corporate branch, which specializes in trading cars, trucks, and buses in Riyadh to violate the anti-fraud system by not complying with the terms and controls of licenses for sales and commercial offers for consumers.

The ministry published a summary of the court ruling issued by the Criminal Court in Riyadh, including the imposition of a fine, and the ruling was published in two newspapers at the expense of the facility.

The details of the case are due to the initiation by Al-Tijara of consumer reports about the company’s branch announcing discounts on used cars, amounting to 40%.

Accordingly, the violation of the reductions procedure was directly determined and without obtaining a statutory license, and then the case was referred to the judicial authorities to apply statutory penalties to the branch of the facility in accordance with the anti-commercial fraud system.

It is worth noting that the Ministry has provided the service of issuing discount licenses to commercial establishments electronically, within the framework of its keenness and interest in verifying the validity of discounts, ensuring that there is no manipulation or misleading to consumers, and eliminating all fake offers.

The Ministry of Trade and Investment confirms its intention to continue to confront violators of the anti-fraud system, and to complete the application of legal measures against them, given the resulting fraud and deception of consumers.

The Ministry invites all consumers to report their complaints to the Communications Center on the number 1900, or through the application of a “commercial communication”, or through the Ministry’s website on the Internet.
