The hadith of Abbasi, who heads the “Yaqin” Institute, and who is considered very hard-line and strongly opposed to the reform and moderate current in Iran, came during a speech on January 17 at the Jami Mosque in the northern city of Nowsher.
Abbasi touched on the issue of the Emir of Qatar traveling to Tehran, wondering, “Why were the confused Qataris here a week ago?” He answered himself, saying: Because they knew that all the missiles that were sold to them benefit them.
In his speech, he referred to the killing of General Qassem Soleimani, the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps, who was killed by a drone on the night of January 3 near Baghdad International Airport after he went to Iraq from Syria, and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy to the Popular Mobilization Council, and a number of senior crowds by receiving him to meet the two men killed By a wave of an American drone.
Hassan Abbasi added that since the US forces command in the region is based in Qatar, the general, who took over the command of Qassem Soleimani, is the four-star General Mackenzie, who is in the city of Doha and at the Centcom base, and if Iran wanted to respond to the Americans in that region, this would be a disaster .
He added: That is why they flocked in confusion, seeking to apologize because the plane that assassinated Soleimani was sent from Qatari territory, and for this we will pay 3 billion to pay the fine of the (Ukrainian) plane, its passengers and everything.
“We are ready to do what you command us because the Qataris knew that the missiles that the United States put there are just junk as he put it,” he said.
This former member of the Revolutionary Guards described the visit of the Emir of Qatar as a “petition,” and said by Sheikh Tamim: “By God, we want to host the Olympic Games next year and we spent a lot of money. What do you want me to do?”
Abbasi revealed, based on foreign agencies, that the Emir of Qatar has pledged to pay $ 3 billion in fines for the Ukrainian plane, insurance costs and compensation for the families of the plane’s victims.
It is noteworthy that the airliner was bombed by a missile on January 8 after taking off from Tehran on the way to Kiev, and it fell and killed all of the 176 people on board. Iran has admitted to downing the plane “by mistake”, hours after it bombed Iraqi bases housing American soldiers in Iraq, in response to the killing of the Quds Force Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Qassem Soleimani, in a US raid in Baghdad.
